Lyon midfielder Pavel Šulc to be sidelined for four months with a meniscus injury

Olympique Lyonnais’ Pavel Šulc (25) has suffered a meniscus injury to his right knee, the Rhône-based club confirmed on Sunday. Having picked up the injury during a training session ahead of OL’s away match against TSG Hoffenheim in the Europa League (3-0) last Thursday, the Czech midfielder is set to undergo surgery and “is expected to be sidelined for around four months” , according to the medical statement.
